Eric Pless was born in Vancouver Canada in 1958. He moved to California in 1978 Where he has two sons... So how did his art develop you ask...? He had just been to the Tucson rock and gem show to pick up some supplies to "try dabbling" with some earring ideas he was now bursting to create. He was snowed in during a huge snowstorm, in a small cottage in the woods of Nevada City. With very basic tools and materials collected and handy he began to create earrings from pure inspiration and exploration. He created Titanium Rings Studio in 1998, having spent 12 years prior working with silver and titanium on a small scale selling at California and Arizona art shows.

His work with metal began in high school while taking metalworking classes in which he received straight A's. Metalworking has always been his true inspiration and aptitude. As an artist, Eric engineered, designed and created a new paradigm in metalworking and anodizing with titanium. Having gleaned inspiration and an eye for design proportion from his mother's works of art, combined with skills developed from many metal and woodwork studies, Eric's natural abilities truly express a unique movement in the world of jewelry.
