About Us

Eric Pless began creating jewelry using silver and semi-precious gemstones in 1987. Specializing in earrings, his work also included bolos, bracelets, ear cuffs and money clips. One day, while placing an order with his suppliers for the usual materials used to create his jewelry, Eric spontaneously ordered a sheet of titanium. This sheet of titanium provided the start of a new line of jewelry. As he played with this sheet of titanium, Eric experienced ease with the material and a fascination with the colors that resulted with heat applications. His jewelry took off! He soon found himself swamped with orders at California Art Shows throughout the state where he sold the bulk of his stock.

It was at one of these art shows in Palm Springs , California that Eric met world-renowned artist Ferdinand Brigati. Brigati had been working with titanium since 1972, creating titanium sculptures and had opened his studio in Palm Springs , Bri-Ti Creations in 1988. Brigati invited Eric to visit his studio and in viewing Brigati's titanium sculptures, Eric's imagination took flight! Brigati then handed Eric a two-foot section of titanium tubing recommending he try making rings. Eric was off and running! For Eric, working with this new and magical element, everything worked. Looking back he can see that so many things could have gone wrong, but for some reason he found working with Titanium to be inspirational and easy!

Throughout the years, Eric's tinkering landed him where he is now. From a log cabin located in the Northern Sierra Nevada foothills (where his first rings were made) to a fully functioning artist's studio in Grass Valley, California Eric is now designing, and creating titanium rings and running an online service to provide customers with a product he has grown to love! His online service began as an online catalog in 1999, and to his great surprise he was found and an order was placed. Within 6 months the orders came in steady succession.

As his business has grown, Eric has created titanium jewelry designs that are unique, providing a rich variety seen nowhere else. He has continued to hand make his rings as this method allows him to customize the rings to accommodate artistry and a personal connection to the customer. The jewelry created at Titanium Rings Studio is not mass-produced on high tech equipment. Each piece is hand cut personally by artists who are inspired by the process Jacob Hansard and Rex Duarte.

Due to success in sales, the need for customer service became apparent. Eric could see that as an artist he would need help in this arena. Consequently, bringing employees into his business, he has worked closely with each one to promote a policy for customers that is in service to them Susan J. Smith. Our goal is to create a personal relationship with every customer, while providing a professional service that addresses his or her needs. Each employee who answers the phone and addresses email inquiries is in alignment with Titanium Rings Studio's policy of customer care Richard Anzelc Jr. As far as we are concerned, this is where the rubber meets the road. We are here to have fun and the artistry does not end with jewelry making. When working with our customers, we are here to create a pleasurable, memorable experience that will add meaning for the person wearing our rings. We are a small business invested in having a good time and creating unique, personalized jewelry for everyone.
